जैसी करनी पार उतरनी किस मिस तुम सब फूलो।

राई राई का लेखा होगा बात कभी मत भूलो।

_{एक गृहस्थी की स्त्री को कुछ वर्षों तक एक पुत्र नहीं हुआ।  अतएव वह पुत्र होने के लिए मूर्ख और धूर्त मनुष्यों के पास जा-जाकर ताबीज़-गंदा और यन्त्र-मंत्र कराने लगी।  एक बार एक पाखंडी ने इस मूर्ख स्त्री से कहा कि ' मंगलवार की रत को यदि तू किसी आदमी के घर  लगा दे तो गुरु के कथनानुसार अवश्य तेरे पुत्र होगा। ' बस मूर्ख स्त्री ने वैसा ही किया।  उस भयंकर आग में बहुत सा माल , गाय, भैंस और बछड़े कुल मिलाकर आठ जीव चीखते चिल्लाते जल मरे।}

ENGLISH TRANSLATE:- A woman of a household did not have a son for some years. Therefore, to have a son, she went to foolish and cunning men and started getting amulets-dirty and yantra-mantra. Once a hypocrite said to this foolish woman that 'If you put a man's house on Tuesday night, then you will definitely have a son according to the Guru's words. ' That's just what the foolish woman did. In that fierce fire, a lot of goods, cows, buffaloes and calves, in total, eight creatures died screaming and screaming.

^{कुछ दिनों बाद उस स्त्री पुत्र हुआ और समय बीतने पर वह आठ पुत्रों की माँ बनी।  उसका बूढ़ा ससुर अपनी पुत्रबधू  के उस के उस आग लगाने वाले कुकृत्य  को जानता था। एक दिन उसने सोचा - ' मालूम पड़ता हैं कि भगवान के घर भी अंधेर है।' उस स्त्री ज्यों-ज्यों बेटे बड़े होते गए , सब का ब्याह करती गयी।  लेकिन जिस लड़के का ब्याह होता, वह मर जाता था।  इस प्रकार उसके सब बेटे मर गए।  तब वह फूट -फूटकर रोने लगी।  बूढ़े ससुर ने कहा - 'भगवान के घर अंधेर नहीं है।  वहां सच्चा न्याय होता है।' यह बात सुनकर बहु को ऐसा लगा मानो घाव पर नमक छिड़क दिया गया हो।}

ENGLISH TRANSLATE:- After a few days that woman had a son and with the passage of time she became the mother of eight sons. His old father-in-law knew about the incendiary act of his daughter-in-law. One day he thought - 'It seems that even the house of God is dark.' As the sons grew up, the woman married everyone. But the boy who got married would die. Thus all his sons died. Then she wept bitterly. The old father-in-law said - 'There is no darkness in the house of God. There is true justice.' Hearing this, the daughter-in-law felt as if salt had been sprinkled on the wound.

उसने कड़ककर ससुर से कहा - ' आठ-आठ बाघ जैसे बेटों जाने से मानों तुम्हे बड़ी खुशी हो रही है। ' पास-पड़ोस के लोगों ने भी आकर बूढ़े को बुरा-भला कहा। बूढ़ा बोलै - ' मुझे मेरा परिवार बहुत प्रिये है। परन्तु अभागिनी ने किसी मूर्ख से एक गृहस्थ के घर आग लगा दी थी। उसमें आठ निर्दोष पशु चिल्ला-चिल्लाकर जल मरे थे। वे ही आठों इस मूर्ख के आठ पुत्र होकर जन्मे और अब वे ही इसे संताप की आंच में जलती छोड़ चल बसे हैं।' बूढ़े की यह बात गांव वालों को जँच गई और उस मूर्ख ने भी समझ लिया की यह मेरे ही कुकर्म का फल है। उसके बाद वह अपने ससुर को ज्ञानी समझकर उसकी सेवा करने लगी। कुछ समय बीतने पर फिर उसके एक पुत्र हुआ। वह सुखी हुई।

ENGLISH TRANSLATE:- He said bitterly to his father-in-law - 'It is as if you are feeling very happy to have eight-eight tiger-like sons. ’ People from the neighborhood also came and said bad things to the old man. The old man said - 'I love my family very much. But the unfortunate had set fire to the house of a householder by some fool. Eight innocent animals were killed by screaming in it. Those eight were born as eight sons of this fool and now they have left it burning in the flame of anger. This thing of the old man was liked by the villagers and that fool also understood that this is the result of my own misdeeds. After that, considering her father-in-law to be wise, she started serving him. After some time, he again had a son. She was happy.
