^{ट्विटर के ब्लू टिक के लिए 8 डॉलर वसूलने का एलन मस्क का फैसला नयी मुसीबत में घिर गया है। अमेरिका में कई फर्जी खाताधारकों ने डॉलर का भुगतान कर ब्लू टिक हासिल कर लिया है और बाद में इन खातों से फेक ट्वीट किये गए। इससे परेशां ट्विटर ने शुक्रवार को फिलहाल ब्लू टिक सब्सक्राइबर सेवा रोक दी है। मस्क के ट्विटर खरीदने से पहले ब्लू टिक सिर्फ सेलेब्रिटीज, पत्रकारों, नेताओं आदि को ही मिलता था और ट्विटर इन खातों को प्रमाणित करता था। मस्क के नए नियम के अनुसार अब एक फोन, क्रेडिट कार्ड और हर महीने 8 डॉलर खर्च करने की क्षमता रखने वाला कोई भी शख्स ब्लू टिक हासिल कर सकता है।}

^{अमेरिका में ऐसे ही एक शख्स ने दवा कंपनी एली लिली एंड कंपनी का फर्जी खाता बनाकर ब्लू टिक हासिल किया और फिर ट्वीट कर दिया की इन्सुलिन मुफ्त में उपलब्ध है। इसके बाद दवा कंपनी को सार्वजनिक रूप से माफ़ी मांगनी पड़ी। सिर्फ इसी कंपनी नहीं, नाइंटेनडु, लॉकहीड मार्टिन, मस्क की अपनी कंपनी टेस्ला और स्पेस एक्स आदि के फर्जी खाते लोगों ने बना लिए हैं। ट्विटर पर कारोबार करने वाले ऐसे विज्ञापनदाता जो पहले ही अपना कारोबार रोककर स्थिति का जायजा ले रहे हैं, उनके लिए फर्जी खाते बड़ा झटका हो सकते हैं।}

^{डिजिटल नागरिक अधिकार समूह ने बताया कि मस्क के ट्विटर खरीदने  से इस पर नस्ली गालियों (हेट स्पीच) की संख्या बढ़ गयी है।  सेंटर फॉर कॉउंटरिंग डिजिटल हेट ने पाया कि अश्वेतों पर नस्ली विशेषण को 26000 से अधिक बार किया गया।  ये 2022 के औसत से 3 गुना अधिक है।  ट्रांस लोगों के लिए भद्दे शब्दों में 53% की वृद्धि हुई, जबकि समलैंगिक पुरुषों लिए आक्रामक शब्दावली 39 % की वृद्ध हुई।शोधकर्ताओं के अनुशार, दुनिया भर के लगभग 80000 अंग्रेजी भाषा के ट्वीट रीट्वीट को देखा गया जिसमे आपत्तिजनक शब्दों का भरपूर इस्तेमाल किया गया।} 

मस्क ने जताई ट्विटर के दिवालिया होने की आशंका

चार अधिकारियों के इस्तीफे।
