3. डी.वाई. चंद्रचूड़ भारत के 16 वें और सबसे लंबे समय तक सेवा में रहने वाले मुख्य न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति वाई.वी. चंद्रचूड़ पुत्र हैं।
4. 11 नवंबर, 1959 को जन्मे जस्टिस दी. वाई. चंद्रचूड़ 13 मई, 2016 को भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश नियुक्त हुए थे।
5. 31 अक्टूबर, 2013 से सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में नियुक्त तक वे इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायलय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश रहे थे।
